Karrion Kross and Scarlett: The End is Here

As soon as Karrion Kross and Scarlett returned I knew I’d do a new painting of them, as they’re favorites for me to create with. They’re the type of personas that I can push really far as they already are so over the top, plus their looks truly lend themselves to my approach.

For this one, I tried out something a bit different by creating Scarlett totally with colored ink, and then Kross with colored pencil. I feel like the different mediums make them stand apart while the color palette keeps it all as one piece. Both of these are from their stellar entrance, when Kross has the spotlight directly above him, while Scarlett’s is from when she madly sings along with their entrance song.
