Johnny Gargano: Ain't No Thing Like Me

The moment Johnny Gargano returned to WWE I knew I wanted to do a new painting of him! Johnny Wrestling’s appearance gave me an opportunity to play around some more with mixing charcoal into my approach, using it to add some interesting rough-hewn texture that ink and watercolor alone don’t provide.

Just like it’s fun for me to continue to experiment and grow while staying true to myself, we’ve seen the same thing with Johnny Gargano. He continues to grow and push himself in new and exciting ways and I feel like we’re just getting started with what he’s capable of!
